About The JENE Fellowship

The Jewish Experiential and Nature Educators program is offered through the Brandeis Bardin Campus of American Jewish University. Through the vision of Gabe Goldman, this program prepares Jewish educators to transform the outdoors into a learning environment. With the principle of  learning through doing held paramount, JENE fellows practice problem solving and personal development day to day in the garden, on the trail and with students. Fellows are challenged to reflect on the value of nature through Judaism and share these discoveries with others.
